Newman and Pacman played fine. Hall will be back. Kirkpatrick is showing a lot of promise as he gets more actual reps. He really only had one bad game tackling then 2 bad plays. Otherwise he has been fine and getting better.

If we add a CB, it will be someone with a ton of upside and probably adds to the return game. I have more faith in Kirkpatrick than a lot of guys.

Agree 100% about Thomas.
You are right sort of. We need a LB, and if it is Borland I could see Rey M sliding back to SLB where he was good as a rookie and Borland in the middle.
I'd rather have Skov regardless.
But I could also see a SLB in the mold of David Pollack. DE/LB hybrid if we lose Michael Johnson in free agency.
I think if the Bengals go LB, it will be a hybrid pass rush guy. The team is pretty deep already with "traditional" WLB/MLB types with Vontaze Burfict, Rey Maualauga, Vinny Rey, Emmanuel Lamur and Sean Porter.

A guy like Kyle Van Noy, Dee Ford, Jerry Attachou, etc. would make a lot of sense in round 1 or 2. Not a guy like Borland in my opinion.

I actually both agree and disagree on CB. I agree it is not the major 1st round need everyone is making it out to be as long as Leon Hall is progressing as expected in returning from injury. They will know how he is doing before the draft in May. I disagree about there not being a need for depth. I would argue that the need at CB is a 3rd or 4th round need as I see next to nothing after the top 4 CBs and a developmental guy to eventually replace Newman makes a lot of sense. Brandon Ghee can't stay healthy and I think the draft pick replaces him.

Basically, I think the Bengals need to draft their #5 CB for 2014 and hope that guy can develop into a #3 or #4 CB by 2015. They shouldn't have to use a 1st rounder to do that.

Nix over Barr in the first round is an absolute travesty.

Moncreif would be better than Landry in the second round for the steelers

I would love for the Bills to take Robinson in the draft, I just dont see it, C. Glenn has done nothing, and the Bills brass has said nothing that would lead anyone w/an IQ above ******** to believe he is moving to RT, or that they are considering it. How often is a T drafted in the top 10 to play RT w/no plans on moving to LT? I cant think of it ever happening...
I would think a pass rusher like Barr or Ealy would go first, Ebron is another personal favorite and they need a TE, but not sure I see that either. Mosley at ILB, I dont really see either, but is a possibility. My opinion, they go Barr.

I am a Bucannon guy as well, but I dont see them taking a safety that early even if they lose Byrd (who they say they want to bring back). IMO Bucannon is a SS purely, they already have A. Williams there after he made a very successful transition from CB, and they drafted D. Williams last year who figures into the plans with Searcy already proving a competent back up at SS.
Xavier makes alot of sense at G to me, thier LG needs an upgrade, Lugarsky is a spot starter/back up IMO, and Urbrik underperformed and seemed to have regressed under Marrone, which is wierd...

Niklas is a steal in the 3rd, love it and a long term upgrade over everyone on the roster, maybe short term as well.

SJB in the fourth is a steal as well, value might dictate they have to take him there, I love it. Spiller and Jackson are FA's after next year, not sure they are going to pay Spiller what he will likely be asking for. Jackson will be 34/5. J. Hill would be a good pick as well, and the likely long term answer at RB, especially considering how Marrone has historically liked to run the ball.

My .02 (really worth about 5/7 of a cent), is Barr, Filo, Niklas, Hill/SJB makes alot of sense.

So let me get this straight--the Saints need a WR and pass on Marqise Lee for the overrated Shazier? Sorry, not buying it.

Completely disagree, I love the Fales pick, we need a long-term backup for Kap unless you want McCoy back. Great SF draft overall.

Love the browns pick that what I been saying draft Watkins at 4 and then take a 2nd tier qb

all the other picks fit need, though safety not really a need but depth is always a good thing,

as for the rest of the draft I dont see barr falling that far, also i dont see both St.Louis or Jax passing on clowney i could be wrong but I think hes too good a talent to pass up even if its not a need
