1) Aaron Donald goes top 10
2) Eric Ebron falls into the 20's
3) Odell Beckham Jr. goes in the top 15
4) DT's - Jernigan, Hageman, and possibly Nix all drop out of round 1
5) Only 1 RB drafted in the first 2 rounds. (probably Hyde)
None of these would shock me.

Bitonio goes before Lewan.

Deone was a center fielder for WSU... He was their whole defense. And journeyman got to this before me.

1. My boy, Deone, will be a first round pick.

I'm not doubting the fact that he played that style in college, William Moore was the same way at Missouri but moved to SS in the NFL, and I wonder if Bucannon is in a similar boat.

I'm also not disagreeing with him going in the 1st; just that he jumps both Pryor and Ward. I think three safeties go in the 1st. Just a question of who is the third IMO.

I do think also three safeties, which is why mine didnt say Deone would go 2nd. I just think wherever Deone goes is going to get a Eric Weddle type player.

If Brady retires at the end of his contract the rookie 2nd round pick would have 1 year to prove himself before the Pats would either have to franchise him by paying him top 5 QB money or extend him for big money. The 5th year option is a much better value, it could potentially extend the trial period, and save the Pats the money as well.

I think the spending the 1st on the QB makes more sense than using a 2nd on one, regardless of whether or not the Pats feel he'll be available in the 2nd.
I'm assuming he has fielding offers for Mallett which should bring back a bigger fish. I'm just lightly touching base with this but I don't want to kill this thread by flooding it about New England's situation.

Most definitely on board with this because I'm higher on Shazier than most.

Although I initial brought up Dallas, I took a glance at the board after I posted and realized Arizona being in the spot they are in, something very special may fall into their lap.

Derek Carr goes in the third round, proving that smokescreens are indeed strong.

Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater are the first two QBs off the board.

Jimmy Garoppolo is drafted before Johnny Manziel.

Zach Mettenberger is drafted in the first 35 picks.

Mike Evans is drafted before Sammy Watkins.

Louis Nix is the first DT selected.

Detroit does not trade up. Detroit trades DOWN.

Barr is drafted by the Lions who can't resist his size/speed combo, ends up DROTY.

Cleveland pulls the trigger on Manziel, he and Kyle become blood brothers and proceed to win the AFCN.

Why do the Steelers select Carlos Hyde?? To finish 3rd in the NFL in rushing yardage and earn a playoff wildcard berth.

The Jags select Sammie Watkins to replace the alcoholic from Okl State. Chad Henne proves he does not suck and locks up the starting gig.

The Cowboys snag Jimmie Ward who goes on to grab 7 INTs in the division and leads Dallas to a double digit win season.

The Falcons take the player they wanted all along, Greg Robinson. Atlanta has the 3rd highest scoring offense in the NFL and Matt Ryan is sacked only 18 times all season. Can Big G pass block??? Oh yes.

5 rookie RBs rush for at least 1K yards, an NFL record.

The Rams snag Khalil Mack...ooh baby. St Louis leads the NFL in sacks and puts Russell Wilson on IR ending the Seahawks playoff hopes.

George Foremen, err Rashede Hageman, is the 2nd pick of the 2nd round and becomes the Skins best Dlineman as a rookie.

I think Louis Nix goes higher than he is projected right now.

The guy was dominant in 2012 and played hurt and heavy in 2013 and all of a sudden he is a 3-4 plugger only?

He looked great at his pro day at 335lbs and I think people will go back and see a dynamic player that is closer to Wilfork then he is to some plug.

I'm going to add another two...Johnny Manziel will be the fifth QB selected.

Bortles, Bridgewater, Garoppolo, and Mettenberger all go before him.

The Bears will pass on Aaron Donald if he's there in favor of a corner or safety, ruining 95% of mock drafts. They're pretty well stocked at 3 tech, so this shouldn't be a bold prediction, but people keep making the same mistake.

Default Monomach's bold predictions for the draft.

Monomach like to ridicule people for their opinions, let's see how correct his opinion is????? Does he have a clue or is it all bluff based on his lack of any research.

Research = copy and pasting every NFL.com article?

It's a bold predictions thread, genius. Not a normal predictions thread.

No safety is taken in the top 25.

Not a single running back goes in the top 10.

I like both the Shazier and Bucannon calls. Bucannon is obviously better than either Clinton-Dix or Pryor. Better athlete, more productive player, more versatile, etc. Ward is Bucannon's stiffest competition at safety, but their strengths are different.

If Minnesota waits on QB, I have Shazier as the best option at #8.

I have no idea how you can say that Bucannon is OBVIOUSLY better than HaHa and Pryor. I can understand saying you may like him more but he has serious flaws. I think his 40-time has people misled as he has very good straight-line speed but he's incredibly stiff. I don't like how he looks in space and I don't trust him doing much outside of zone coverage.
