Which situation is more sad? Two great pitchers with great potential seem not be able to get over the injury bug.

I'm both a Pirates and Cubs fan (is that possible?)

Prior is more sad. Already hurt? This guy has the potential to be like Rocket, he could be flat out dominant, he just can't stay healthy. It's extremely sad.

They need to both just die. Prior is the sadder case though because Wood was so overrated. He could be a great closer and thats about it.. Prior has perfect mechanics and is a beast all around, just can't stay healthy. Wood has and always will be overrated.

It has to be Wood, I haven't seen Prior as injured as Wood and Wood is probably better, when healthy

I think the saddest is Prior, just because I think he's flat out better. Perfect mechanics are supposed to keep you away from injuries, but he just can't shake the bug. He could be great, but it seems like it just isn't meant to be.

yes he his with all his hype you would have think he would have won at least 20 games once, but in reality he has yet to win 15 in a season.

wood was done last year prior still had hope, but no more. Remember when everyone was talking about how they were going to be the greatest pitching tandom ever in like 99, how far they have fallen!

I went to Prior's first game, man, that was awesome. I went with my friend, the best memory is probably when Prior hit that double.

you don't know what you are talking about, none of you.

Kerry Wood before his elbow injury had probably some of the best stuff in the game, after the injury, his curve wasn't as effective, and he couldn't throw it as much.

I don't know what's wrong with Prior though, i think he'll still be fine, he is still very young. His stuff is great, but it was his mentality and mechanics combined with this good stuff that made people say he was the greatest pitcher coming out in a long time.

I really don't like the Rocket-Prior comparison, that's a terrible comparison as it has no bearing. Wood is a better comparison stuff wise to rocket, but Prior is in a league of his own talent wise.
