What 'truth' was revealed in his question [about Teddy Bridgewater's father]?
I thought the point of it was that he was making fun of the fact that inner city men usually leave their wives immediately after they give birth.

Dude you sound so crazy right now. 'Inner city men leave their wives?'
When did they get married in the first place??

And the epidemic of single mothers in this county raising their kids alone isn't just happening in the 'hood. It's an American problem, not only a Black one.

Now it's funny when someone grows up without one of their parents???

Have you been to a prison lately??? There's hundreds of thousands of men across the country incarcerated right now who never knew their fathers.

Anyway, why would you poke fun at TB because his dad wasn't involved in his life??

Know what's even more hilarious?? When someone's mom or dad commits suicide.

Classic.

I wasn't. I thought another poster was doing that and I jokingly told him to be careful.

Sometimes when a person had their father leave them when they were young, the father comes back when their kid turns out to be rich because they want a handout. That happened to John Lennon, Shaquille O'Neal, and Dennis Rodman. I'm pretty sure all three of those celebrities had the same logical and understandable reaction: "So NOW you want to be part of my life? You got to be kidding me -- get lost." I would have said that too. Hopefully Bridgewater's father won't try to pull the same thing.

Considering Bridgewater already has an endorsement deal from Nike and probably has more lined up with trading card companies, yes he does have the money. Is he a millionaire yet? No, but he has plenty of money already to buy a nice car for him mom especially considering he's about to get a $5 million contract $3.5 of which will be guaranteed (if he is drafted in the same area as Geno Smith).
