Who is going to win washington dc regional
I think the huskeys (uconn) are going to win the dc regional. But i have to give some love to ncarolina after there championship line up left last year for the nba and be a 3rd seed with a lot of young guys. And plus i dont want nova to face conneticut. Who do you think is going to win dc?

This shouldn't even be a discussion. UConn is a lock for final four.

My guess is Michigan State. Hard to be against Izzo in the tournament. Sure, his team has struggled all year, but it's not as if the talent isn't there. I think they are too veteran laden for North Carolina, and I think they'll meet up against Witchita State in the Sweet 16.

I've currently got UConn coming out of this region.
There's no way I can pick MSU to win this after seeing some of their games this year. They are just too inconsistent

Carolina. These guys have incredible talent for such a young team and are playing much better as a rebuliding group. UConn may have the talent, but they failed to show up in several big games this year. I just don't think the yhave the heart to win. Illinois lacks consistency sometimes and Augustine gets dominated by big post player. Washington is dangerous, but I dubt they win it. Don't have the talent that Illinois, UNC, or UConn has. I say the winner of the UNC/MSU game takes the region.

Bruin, stop. This is NCAA Basketball. Anything can happen at any time. UConn going down wouldn't surprise me in the least bit. Michigan State is bound to make a run as well, and Illinois is on a roll too.. kinda. Dee is just a great tournament player along with Augustine.
Right now, I say...

I voted U of I, just because I'm a homer..... No offense to UNC, but I don't think they can go anywhere, they're too young....

Sorry toonster, for once I completely disagree. Unless you think UConn gets bounced before the elite 8, Michigan State can't handle them. Personally, most MSU fans I've talked to are worried about George Mason.

i don't like Michigan state but i think they will win the region because they went to the final 4 last year and they still have the same group of Davis, Ager, and Brown

Davis is a *****. Softest Center besides Pittstinkle. On paper though, MSU should be a top five team w/ the talent they have. They do play well in the tourney, but they are very inconsistent.
