Good deal for him. He wasn't going to start again and he was heavily on the decline. It's always good for players to retire before they're too beat up and they can spend time with their kids before they get old.

Since he was the first pick in the first draft I remember I'll always have a soft spot for him.

Better to be done with the game before the game is done with you.

I've always liked Bledsoe, too bad that asshole had to take his job from him.

Why wouldn't he just go to Seattle and be a backup or something?

Why would he? He's made plenty of money, if he's not going to have any chance at a starter why stick around.

the only reason i liked the Patriots were cause they had Bledsoe, but after Brady took over i've hated them ever since and also they beat the Rams by a gosh darn field Goal

I always liked him. He had that sick rushing touchdown last year. He ran a 40 in 5.67 at least. Blazing speed. He had a gun, good at reading defenses, earlier in his career.

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

You know coming out he ran a faster 40 than Romo right?

Great quote, but I think the game was done with him. He's not athletic at all and compound that with age and that's a double negative.

Are you only remembering his Cowboys days? He has some very good numbers and lead his team to a SuperBowl(technically won one also but was injured that whole season). He has a legitimate shot, will it happen, I have no clue but it certainly wouldn't surprise me.

I sure wouldn't have minded him retiring just before the season finale against the Steelers 3 years ago.
He played for teams I didn't like and didn't do much positive while he was here. But he had a pretty good career, and I wish him the best.
