I agree with you, We will kill scUM. Our recruiting class was very good. 3 top 100 players and a walk on that should be good. We are also close to getting a top 10 player in 08 Delvon Roe.

Yup and we got korey Lucious, a top 30 pg for 08. and we may get ed davis to whose a top 10 PF in 08. We're gonna be sick

lol.. i'm a state fan i follow all the important sports and recruiting.

MSU is going to be a powerhouse for many more years.

Hope MD can turn our football program around. He's trying to pick up many top recruits in 08 and i hope he will get a majority of them

Ya he's got great ties in the ohio area from his cincy coaching experience, if we can simply take Ohio State's scraps (all 4 stars) ill be thrilled. He has ties in florida too and MSU always seems to get a player of two from the south so hopefully that will help us too. Im VERY excited, cuz i get to witness it all in person next year.

Don't underestimate Manny Harris and Alex Legion coming in this year. Teamed up with a more mature Deshawn Sims and Michigan will have plenty of talent to compete with State.

the problem with UM is there is no good big men but the same could be said with MSU although they have some decent guys

No disrespect to them, but we have a top 5 class with only 4 players and one of them is a walk on 3-star prospect.

Suton, Gray, Ibok, and herzog are a much more formidable front line than UM's.

AND we have Drew Neitzel (Big Ten POY 2007-08). He is one of the best PG's in the country and can will MSU to wins.

That was my concern about Michigan this year. They knew they were losing Sims and didn't have too many big men to begin with, yet they recruited nobody to fill in. We have Udoh who's gonna be a sophomore, but that's it. Hopefully Beilein will find a way to take care of that.

im sure he will but i doubt he's able to this year its hard to recruit right away as a new coach but i guess we can hope

For years michigan has been able to recruit detroit and that was how they stayed reasonably respectable, but theyve lost their hold on Detroit to OSU and MSU, they wont be able to do much for at least a year, state has a stranglehold on Michigan.

Delvon Roe has a Press conference today to announce his decision between Michigan State and North Carolina for 2008. If he goes to UNC ill cry myself to sleep tonight.
