Without a doubt howard. He is heavier, more powerful, blocks more shots, and is wayyy younger. plus he doesnt go down for 10-20 games a year.

Guess who I'm gonna pick here.
I just wish Dwight could have some of Yao's offensive game.

Hey, he may not be that aggressive but, offensivly he is the best true Center in the league, right now.

I'll have to go with Howard because of his upside. Right now, he's not a go-to scorer but that should change is a couple years. Plus, he's arguably the best rebounder in the league and is very active.

Yea because we have Tracy McGrady, but when we have both we dominate people. Yea T-Mac is the MVP of our team, but I would much rather have Yao(obviously)

I have to go with the same bet and pick Howard but I love Yao and he has a great game but injuries and the presence of T-Mac will always leave him underappreciated and overlooked to some extent.

The game is undoubtedly trending towards needing versatile offensive big men over enforcers in the paint, so I'll go with Yao. If this was 1997, I'd take Dwight.

wow some people have absolutely no knowledge. Someone said Howard is heavier? Yao has almost 40 pounds on him. Another person said the rockets are better off without Yao? Give me a break.
I would take Yao if it werent for his injury problems btw. He was an MVP candidate before he went down with an injury.

I have a man crush on Dwight...
but seriously his offensive game has improved greatly since last year, plus its only what his 2nd or 3rd year? He could easily average 25 and 15 in the near future...especially if he stays in the East

No doubt i'd rather have Howard. The only reason you would want Yao over him would be for marketing reasons.
