Jones is fighting Machida. Hendo would get Jones before Evans, too. Rashad is no where near being able to start training again yet.

They could do Shogun-Rampage. Hell, I'd stick that on the next Fox event.

bah that's what i ment, Shogun vs Rampage would be perfect, realistically Rampage only has a punchers chance but it's almost guaranteed to be a exciting fight/finish

Disagree with the punchers chance bit. It could be just as much, possibly even more of a war than what we saw last night.

I just saw the 3 main fights of the card.

1. Edit: Due to a technicality aka believing my stupid friend...I believed Wandy lost....nvm...I'm very happy now.

2. My boy Urijah!! Was a great fight for him.

3. OMG!!! What a fight. Classic....wow....it was...just wow..Hendo vs Hua was amazing. ahaha

Also yea, Rampage would get owned by Rua. He has a puncher's chance but Rua is just better. Would make a good fight though.

Well, what specifically makes you think Page has a chance? I honestly don't see him having anything more than a punchers chance. Maybe you could say Shogun's cardio, but thats the only thing I can think of.

I dont think that Rampage has diminished from their first fight as much as Shogun. With all the knee surgeries and such, Shogun is not the rampaging berzerker that he once was. Granted, Rampage lacks some of the explosiveness he used to have, but I think he has much more a chance than you may think. Rampage is a pretty technical boxer for mma these days and he would probably be motivated to fight shogun so he would be in good shape. I think that would be a good fight that Rampage could win.

If Rampage mixed up his offense on the feet I'd be inclined to favor him over Shogun, but he's so damn predictable now. You just know he's going to go for landing that big hook. It's his best punch, but it's now become his only punch. I wish he'd throw more combos and mix in some takedowns. He's got good ground and pound that he never uses, and he's become eager to look for the knockout instead of gameplanning. He still barely defends kicks, so Shogun could just kick all night long without having to worry about being taken down. It could be a good brawl though. I could see it going like Shogun/Hendo if Shogun doesn't use his kicks to his advantage.

I agree with you that Shogun would probably beat him because of his lack of any fight IQ of any kind. Shogun could agressively chop down his legs and take away his power. However, I could also see Rampage pushing foward agressively and cutting off the cage and winning a decision with his boxing. Also keep in mind, a fight like the one he had with Hendo could change the way he handles punishment. Guys change after brutal beatings like the one Shogun took.

Idk...I think Shogun's showed he can take abuse and still come back OK...he went through some wars back in the Pride Fc days
