The throwbacks look AMAZING!
However, I can't stand that the Steelers have a mascot. I've always liked the Steelers not having a mascot or cheeleaders since 1970. I think it showed that they have so much football history, that the team didn't need them (and that fact that they've sold out every game for years).
I guess what I'm saying is that having a mascot is kind of a sell-out.
In any case, I am in love with these.

a few things came to mind.
where again is our new head coach in these pictures??
did the helmet look a little too mustardy colored?? like even moreso than the jersey??
and i agree, not a big fan of the mascot, although i would much rather a mascot than cheerleaders. and it is a good mascot.
and mike did you say they were hot?? like paris hilton hot??

I think its now a competition between us and New England for "Mascot with the most defined chin/jawline". Ours would win in a fight though. Just look at that 5 o'clock shadow hes got going on. He looks like the guy on Brawny paper towels.

I like the mascot, it's pretty cool. I hate the jerseys, they look cheap.

no competition our mascot would reign victorious over any other mascot. and i still am in love with the jerseys, i think i might actually buy one. (i don't own a jersey) they are soo clean looking. i love the helmets too.

The mascot is AWESOME. The uniforms are a little weak though. Not like it matters, the team just wants to sell lots of jerseys anyway to make more money which will happen because they are 75th anniversary. I actually liked the old uniforms a lot.

when you say old uniforms you mean?? like last years or yesteryears?? cuz i think we took the cake on an NFLN top 10 countdown of the ugliest uniforms ever. like 1960's-65's maybe before that. they were fugly.
