Several thoughts...

I like Josh Beekman here. Why? Beekman has experience at C, but I think he has the talent to be a front line starter. His pass blocking is not bad, but his run blocking is excellent. Another OL from BC, he takes to coaching really well. Sparano could definately work with this and mold him into a gem. I would love to insert him in at RG where his run blocking skills can be fully appreciated, then move Leonard Davis to LG where we can use his pass blocking experience and place him between Adams and Gurode.

Adams - Davis - Gurode - Beekman - Columbo

That's Nasty! I like Kosier off the bench with Proctor and Marten.

Doug Free would also be an excellent selection. I was hoping we would snag him in the 3rd, so a 4th round selection would be sweet! Free gives us another young body along with McQuistan to groom at LT. The only thing is, I feel more excited about drafting a LT with Cleveland's pick next year. I hope we can get Jake Long, Sam Baker or Barry Richardson.

Pittman would be a savvy choice. I love the thought of a Pittman/Barber backfield. Only thing is... what to do with Julius... Should we keep Julius and dump Thompson?

Watch closely! Julius still may be on the move like I predicted! I had mentioned Cleveland and Arizona as possible candidates with CLE missing out on AD and Mo Carthon who knows JJ in Arizona. But there is a new candidate! Green Bay missed out on Lynch and now is trying to get in the bidding for Michael Turner. A 2008 first rounder for Turner is too expensive so watch out for us to possibly do something.

A little too crowded... not enough immediate impact, unless JJ was traded.

I see Michael Bush being picked up with our second 4th rounder as a bigger possibility, where we can put him on IR and wait for him next year.

I don't think there is a lot that separates the CBs, so wait on CB even with Jackson and Bennett available early on. Tarrell Brown or DeAndre Jackson later would be fine with me.

Soliai wouldn't be the worst pick, but I think better players are available.

Don't really care for Allison here. I like Brandon Myles later on. Allison isn't a #1 type WR, so who cares?

Soliai could fill a need but maybe we can find him with our second fourth round.

I like Manuel Ramirez. And D-Unit, I never thought about that, Davis taking LG instead of right. I would certianly like it, because kosiar is one of the best back-ups in the league. 1 of our 4ths should be an o-lineman.

I used be a Soliai supporter, but the deeper I dig, the more I read that he doesn't play with enough leverage and his lack of work ethic. Not to sure on him.

Yeah, this is a tough one. There's going to be some real quality there when we make that pick. I would be pleased with any of the OL.
