Stanton isn't worth the #7 overall pick. I'd rather have Levi Brown or McCauley in that situation.

I have issues with these picks, alongside the Quinn pick.
Not sure how moses and adams convert to the 3-4.
Paul P is no longer a top 10 pick
Losman playing well enough for all talk of a Bills first round QB to be gone.
Browns need to fix their D before another WR.
Merriweather wasn't a first rounder prior to the fight and now he might not be a second rounder.
Eagles rarely go OLB in round 1 and not sure of the need.
Not sure NE goes for a first round caliber WR in back to back drafts.
Not sure the Falcons will go after another CB with J. Williams and DeAngelo Hall already on the team.
Jags don't need another RB.
THe bengals are unlikely to take a first round TE.

Bengals won't address TE round 1. We will be in desperate need for a DE.

Fixed the Steelers, RB isn't really a need right now, Our line was bad for Willie, I think Komeatu is going to be huge. I Think we should still grab Darrelle Revis Round 1 as he's one of the best corners to come out in a while.

^i just wrote down everything your fellow steelers fans suggested were their main concerns. if they do address rb, it won't be until later in the draft, in my opinion. i could definitely see them going after a big goalline back to compliment parker. where the hell has staley gone?

He hasn't been dressing... My opinion? We don't really need an RB. Najeh has been amazing and a big boost of our offense. if he stays healthy (Which he should as a situational back) We won't need a new "Bus" Till we have room to address.. which is probably next year at the earliest. We did grab humes. I could see them grabbing a guy like DeShawn Wynn with an extra pick or a later later rounder.
I want Darrelle Revis because he's the Best CB In the nation and is perfectly built and tuned for the steelers defense. Speed and power, and aggressive.
I'll do the whole thing:
QB:
Need one some point because St. Pierre couldn't even make the Ravens Practice squad at QB. Does that sound alarming to someone else? Batch isn't young anymore so I don't know how many more years he can step in and win.
Diagnosis: Need a mid to late rounder
Cure: John Beck or Luke Getsy.
RB:
In a run heavy system we could always use that next Power back. However it's not a high priority for a few reasons
1) Najeh Davenport. He's been great as a returner/ return blocker and Short yardage back.
2) Willie Parker has been signed long term, he's our franchise RB. We don't need a high pick at Rb.
3) We have to see who's available late.
4) I like Duce better in Philly than I did Pitt. He came to pitt, put on the weight and runs too upright (Sounds like someone who broke his leg).. He basically became a big jogging target
Diagnosis: Late round/UDFA if all
Cure?: Jehuu Caulcrick, DeShawn Wynn.
WR:
We just drafted 2 first day rookies. We also have a probowler and a solid #2. They haven't been getting open, but it's just been an all around bad start for Pittsburgh.
1) Could use a Big guy like Marcus Monk next year to team with Santonio, Nate and Willie.
2) Have to see how the season ends.
Diagnosis: Not really a need
Cure?: Big (Size Tall and strong), either FA or next 2 years. Marcus Monk, Adarius Bowman.
TE:
1) Even with a possible future pro-bowler in Heath Miller we want another one. Mainly for Blocking but wouldn't hurt to grab a kid with Great hands.
2) Charles Davis couldn't do it... Jerame Tuman is almost 30(Never amazing to begin with) and we just Cut Tim Euhus.
Diagnosis: Could be a first day pick
Cure?: Matt Spaeth or Joe Newton. Round 3ish, I Like Clark Harris but I like these 2 more.
OT:
1) Marvel, being the highest paid Olineman needs to step it up.
2) Starks is a RFA so he's 50/50 to be back.
3) Depth is sad. Overweight underachieving Trai Essex, Overachieving undersized Willie Colon.
Diagnosis: Depends on the above.
Cure?: Joe Staley Rd2 (if Starks Leaves), Mike Otto Round 5( If he stays).
OG:
1) Simmons has been playing horrendous.
2) Komeatu our former 6th rounder steps in and does wonders...
3) Depending on Simmons Cap #'s, either he should be kept as a reserve for Faneca and Komeatu of we should draft a big mauler backup.
Diagnosis?: Need a Mauler and I don't really want Simmons back unless he converts to Center.
Cure?: Josh Beekman, Possibly Round 2, if not Him Samson Satele(Underrated because he had to make the move to Center).
OC:
Interesting to say the least. Hartings won't be kept around unless he restructures. His play has been declining. Who do we go to? Okobi, hope not. Phillip, Is he ready? Or Simmons, Can he Transition?
Diagnosis?: depends on things to be determined.
Cure: Lyle Sendlein or Dan Mozes.
DEFENSE:
DE:
1) Smith has plenty of years and Keisel has been solid. Bailey is ok, but after that Kirshcke can't be around much longer.
2) We don't get Traditional high round DE's like most other 3-4s. So rule out Branch and Carriker.
3) There's a perfect Guy Later in the draft.
Diagnosis?: Possibly need depth.
Cure: 7th round or UDFA: Xzavie Jackson. He's a 6'4 Huge wingspan speedster with deceptive power and is a huge reason Missouri is doing so well.
DT:
Hampton and Hoke are a Perfect Duo. Hoke stepped in the season we went 15-1 and made a huge impact. Both have 6 years under them... not exactly a huge need.
Diagnosis: Maybe a UDFA guy just for Depth.
Cure: Quinton Echols, Kansas State.
OLB:
Always Fun...
1) Joey Porter is goign to want alot of money and he doesn't have Huge amount of years left and has been relatively quiet this season.
2) Clark Haggans is 1 year younger than Porter.
3) James Harrison is 1 year younger than Haggans.
So our 3 top OLBs are closing in on that double digit veterancy. It's more of a need than ILB, but not by much. I think Next years ILB Draft will be better (Brinkley/Siler).
Diagnosis: Early DE convert, maybe later round UDFA to Solidify.
Cure?: Anthony Spencer, Purdue rd 2-3, Kelvin Smith 6-7.
ILB:
Farrior is Old but Foote is still amazing me.
1) Kendrell Bell was a DROY for Pitt, but Larry Foote Outplayed him. Footes been great and he will always be underrated. He's smart, was Big10 player of the year and an all-american from MSU.
2) Farrior Has Wallace and Clint Kreidwaldt.
Diagnosis: 2 later round guys....
Cure: Clint Session, Kelvin Smith (Can play all LB positions in a 3-4)
CB:
1) Ike Taylor, easily the most underrated CB in the league. He's a pair of hands away from being Elite.
2) Bryant McFadden in his second Season is a budding star. He's outplayed Townsend and started against KC. He's a physical Corner and Perfect for Pitt.
Diagnosis: I want Revis.
Cure: Give me Revis Round 1.
S:
We have 3 great safeties. Logan will probably retire. Depending who wins the battle at FS (Anthony Smith or Ryan Clark) Tyrone Carter will likely move to SS or they might add a guy late... Daren Stone :)
Diagnosis: No major need.
Cure: Daren Stone in the 7th or UDFA.
Kicker:
No Reeds Consistant and pretty good.
Punter:
Gardocki is in his... 17th? Season... I definitely think we should've kept Mike Barr. Cheaper and he was averaging 51.3 yds/punt all preaseason.
I doubt we draft a punter.

Re: New 2007 Mock
3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Joe Thomas/OT/Wisconsin
-It could happen, but I just think they will look defense here. If they can't/don't resign Kenyatta Walker, this is more likely.
4. Miami Dolphins - Quentin Moses/DE/Georgia
Jason Taylor still has a couple good years in him. Not to mention they added Matt Roth last season.
7. Detroit Lions - Drew Stanton/QB/Michigan St
I personally don't think Stanton is even close to a 1st round pick. His arm strength just isn't impressive. I think by April, most will see him as a 3rd rounder.
8. Buffalo Bills - Brian Brohm/QB/Louisville
Stud QB, but Losman is just starting to come into his own. I think they give him 1 more year, and address D-line or Secondary here.
10. San Francisco 49ers - Levi Brown/OT/Penn St
OT could be a top priority, but I think bringing in a playmaker on offense is so much more important. The best WR on their roster right now might be Arnaz Battle. And that's not good.
13. Washington Redskins - Marcus McCauley/CB/Fresno St
Denver actually has Washington's first round. And vice versa.
15. St Louis Rams - Brandon Merriweather/S/Miami
Merriweather is falling off boards fast. With the whole Albert Haynesworth thing, people are going to be forgetting that he even exists.
27. Atlanta Falcons - Antonie Cason/CB/Arizona
I'd say S ahead of CB, and maybe even OT if there's one available.
28. New England Patriots - David Harris/OLB/Michigan
Great pick. I like the idea of Harris in the 1st round. He's been dominate this year.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars - Micheal Bush/RB/Louisville
I don't think they take another Injury prone big man. They have Greg Jones.
32. Chicago Bears - Ryan Harris/OT/Notre Dame
John Tait is still on roster. I don't know why they'd take OT. Personally I like Brian Leonard here, but that's just my opinion. [/quote]

Alexander is a WLB. Didnt I tell you last time they dont need one?
Concord, that list for the Eagles needs isnt really correct. They dont need a center. At all. They signed Jamaal Jackson to a huge extension this year, and he's a top 10 center. He's 26. Not needed. At all.
Future MLB is needed, that is it. SLB if he's a stud.
CB, FS, and SS. Be more creative next time.

no problem man. i got that list from the team needs thread stickied at the top of the forum. i suppose it was listed by a fellow eagles fan, so i just use it to make the best pick in my mocks. i figure you guys know your team better than i ever would.

moses is horrible value he isnt worth a top 5 pick at all. We would trade out of there definitely at that point. With what is on the board we could get a small fortune.
Miami - LT, OG, WR, 34 OLB, CB, SS,
fixed that up some

While that pick is UNQUESTIONABLY superior to Troy Smith for the Colts, it won't happen because they don't take players with character issues.

You can add SS to that as well now with Brown likely done for the season.

Although Marshawn Lynch may be the "sexy" pick for the Jets, what they really need is NT, and they must take one first round.

Bills won't spend another 1st rounder on a qb or on the secondary.
Baker, Gaines Adams, or outside shot of Jarret being the pick there.

The Browns will not take Ginn, they are not going to take Quinn. Neither of those picks make any sense and to me they show an ignorance of knowledge regarding the team. Offensive line is definitely the area of need for the team.
