His college number was 56, so I bet he just wanted what was close to that. I dont know who has 56 now.

okobi does. so if he's cut in TC don't be surprised if woodley switches. I though Timmons would go with 93, but instead he went with 94, chad browns old number.

him grabbing 55 is disrespectful. even if he wanted to be close he should have grabbed the next closest. i don't want to see another 55 out there for a while. i am wanting to see okobi cut even more now.
by the way does anybody know anything about the Fowler and Deslauriers guy?? seem interesting. and i am not a fan of Dallas. the cowboys suck and he has the same name.

the way i look at it, i would hate for a player to pass up on a number because someone great had it before him and he was scared he couldnt compare to him

so i wouldn't go about it that way either. i would go about it in a hey joey porter was great and all and he is the icon of #55 in the burgh (and outside) so i am going to make my own number great, i am going to become the icon for #36......no wait #12.......**** hold on i will think of one in a minute......#75 haha j/k......ok i'm done. but you get the point.

They're putting ROBBINS AT FB!?!?!?! He's a great DE/OLB Prospect!! 6'4 250 lbs runs a 4.78.... oh well.
Derrick Jones and Ryan McBean will be a future beast duo

I think he'll make the team over Baker. He's not afraid of contact.. and he catches with his hands. Baker seems to be the typical Florida body catcher that bombs out.

Deslauriers is the other big receiver... the 3rd one listed is actually 5'11 and is a KR specialist.

Personaly, I'm really high on Baker, I thought he could go as high as the end of the 4th/beginning of the 5th. Like I've said before, I view him as a poor man's Dwayne Jarrett, he's not the fastest (though a 4.53 isn't terrible), he's got good size, and he's got great hands plus the ability to use his body to shield defenders from the ball. I think he will be better than Washington and could move up to 3rd/4th on the depth chart - depending on what Willie Reid does, if Willie poves himself as a WR, he may move ahead of Wilson, though I see him remaining the 5th WR but the #1 returner.

That was all that was listed.
CDub.. I like Bakers arm length and hands length as well, but I think Fowler is better compared to Dwayne Jarrett.. He'll actually go over the middle, and he'll drop the shoulder.. Baker doesn't like contact.

There is denying Joey was a good linebacker for us, but he wasn't the greatest off all of time. I can understand a player not wearing #12 or #32, great players in the hall of fame. But look back a while ago. Nobody is wanting to kill Aaron Smith for wearing #91, Kevin Greene's old number. Nobody is wanting to kill Richard Seigler for wearing #95 Greg Lloyds old number. Or Brett Keisel for wearing 99, Levon Kirklands old number. The list goes on and on, just because a young player wears a former good steeler number, doesnt make him the worst player ever. I liked Joey, but come one you have to move on. Joey wasnt the same player he was 2 years ago. Players leave all the time, get used to it.

agreed for the most part, but those players didn't take a number two months after the player left. they came to the team over time.
