A tale of 2 LB's.

A very simple question. You hvae 2 LB's. Both went to a big name school. Which would you prefer?

LB A. 5-10/245 4.69 40ty. Senior stats. 109 Tackles, 28 Tackles for loss, 8 sacks, 1 INT. Can be had in the 3rd round.

LB B. 6-0/235 4.59 40ty. Senior stas: 126 Tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, 1 INT. Will cost you a 1st round pick.

Without seeing them play personally, I can't make an educated guess.

Just because there's similar stats doesn't mean anything.

What School did they go to, a big school could mean anything. Going to a Big 10 school means you see some of the best OL In the biz.. where as a team like Texas, other than the Big 10 teams they play, they just abuse the jokes of the Big 12.... Pittsburgh is a big School, but the level of competition isn't exactly anything to brag about.

There has to be more details because Senior stats and size doesn't mean squat. Look at Zach Thomas... he was tiny, but a dominant defender.. Look at Ajax, great size/speed, worthless football player.

There's too many unanswered questions right here to answer either way.

Just looking at #'s it's almost like.. Should we have drafted Lawrence Timmons in 1 or Buster Davis in 3-4. Again, until I see some tape I can't say which one is better.. I'd rather take whichever guy is more dedicated, fiery and fierce..

also if you didn't want to seem biased you should have said 3rd and 1st round, not he could be had and would cost you.

So what should the Steelers have done in the first round if the Timmons pick isn't agreeable. There were not many players around that would be anything but depth. Who would you have liked us to grab?
