He has a resurgence of sorts last season but this season he has been his usual self. Could it be that next year we insert Charles Brown to be the starting LT and move Bushrod over to RT?

Pierre Thomas to IR as well. This is NOT good news for us in the playoffs.

Time for Reggie Bush to step up and show what he's made of here, with 25+ touches.
I just don't trust Julius Jones at all, I mean he bobbled a clean hand off in the Tampa game, and dropped a short dump off pass.

I thought Reggie looked pretty good against us if that's any consolation. Julius, not so much...

Reggie looking good on a lot of carries is never a problem, he tends to respond well to lots of touches.
The issue is whether or not he will last a week or two on lots of touches =/

I think bigger problem with running the ball is just sticking with it. It seems like if we have a 3 yard gain or less, we throw the idea of running out the window.
We weren't uber running the ball last season early in games, we just stuck with it, and piled up big yards in the 4th quarter.

Saints
Why is it that Colston and Brees do not seem to mesh early in the season. I had Colston on my fantasy team and it took about half the year before these two realized they were teammates.

Playoffs
The Saints may win their first round game in 2011 but they will not go far. Too many injuries and league leading interceptions by Brees will not cut it against the top teams in the playoffis. That said, I hope they win the Super Bowl again (or the Chiefs). I married a Cajun football fan who was born in the heart of Cajun country and you can imagine how excited she is after last year.

Go Saints!
I think you guys got a chance to make it back to the SB. I'm betting the RB situation isn't as bad as it seems.

Linebackers and running backs, that's all we draft this year.

We need linebacker (both), nose tackle, and strong safety.

Harper was just awful in this game. Greg Williams may have been the top pick for the Denver job but i do believe he just lost that chance with this game.
Why is Julius Jones even on our team anymore?!
Loomis and Payton better make some changes to this team, makes some splashes with free agent picks, and quit bringing in this piece of **** linebackers like Shanle. Vilma needs some competent talent playing next to him.
End rant.
