Overall definitely. Spencer needs to keep contain and the entire defense needs to get better about staying home on pump fakes.

We REALLY need Murray to be more effective on his carries so we can slow the Chiefs down on the blitzing front.

*shakes head*

Dez drops an easy one. How in the world does he make the circus catches and drop ones in the bread-basket. Shame that probably would have been a TD or at least a 50+ yd gain.

This offense is sooooo frustrating.

DSC - I doubt it. Running the ball isn't cool. Murray isn't exactly doing anything when they do hand it off so I sorta understand it. 12 carries for 25 yards is disgusting.

Big break on the illegal touching on the punt inside the 2. Colquitt has been the chiefs best player today. I'd actually feel better about the offense if we were down more, that's the only time we actually take the handcuffs off.

ROFL. Get off the field Harris. If you can't even pay attention enough to not jump for a false start then sit on the sidelines.

Run. A. Draw. KC doubling Dez and stunting their lineman. Murray could probably run for 10 yards untouched.

I hate our offense. I can't be the only person who realizes our playcalling is full of ass today.

Get that feeling as well. He's pulling throws across his body. Getting sat on by Poe with bad ribs I can't imagine does the body well.

Split 'em Bailey.

Because Romo is a flake and he relies on an erratic WR as his #1.

Have they run a route for Austin past 15 yards all season? Does Romo even try to create a big play opportunity for anyone but Dez?

I'm not even sure Claiborne did anything there. Oh well. We haven't played well enough to win this anyhow.

Same old team stupid.

Even with KC burying itself at the 10 and making two penalties, running out of bounds ..... Cowboys D knows KC is going to run and they still ive up yards.

Then, Claiborne instead of playing conservative on a 5 yard slant, he does stupid. All he needs to do is tackle a smallish WR on the catch.

Team stupid. A perfect reflection of the Owner.

So what excuses today from Romo for 16 points????????? This is an 0-2 teams realistically and the schedule gets worse. I am now predicting 4-12.

2 bad interference calls don't go our way. Scoring only 16 pts against this defense is the continuing problem with this team.

Not throwing the fade on that 3rd and goal when they decided to throw that screen is really haunting them right now.

Yeah, TONY, that little flare pass to Witten is a real winner. Completion % thru the ROOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great game Tony! Great job Callahan and Garrett!!!

Not Romo's fault. He has a 99 QBR today!!!

.

Team stupid. Lucky they won last week. Only way this ever gets better is getting rid of Romo and the Owner dropping dead or being incapacitated. Raiders 2.0.

Well it was nice too see Philly just lose on the game I'm watching. Redskins got blown out. Giants probably lose to the Broncos.

Don't flip out like there's no tomorrow.

But yeah. Probably better for my health that I didn't get to see this game.

I love how Harris doesn't catch the ball there to save 5 seconds. It wouldn't have mattered, but it's just indicative of how dumb a team we are.

I love the stat that we've played in more games decided by 7 pts or less than any other team. That's because Garrett coaches to keep his offense in straightjackets until we're 2 scores behind. The Chiefs had 2 good drives today and still beat us. Just atrocious.

It was the last 8 years, some good things to get you happy but then you see the volume of mistakes and missed opportunities leading to a loss.

And the Defense, once again, blowing it when it matters. Could not have been any easier with the ball on the 10 with three timeouts. All Dallas needs to do is stop the run and burn 3 timeouts.

But wait, Jamaal Charles averaging 2.2 yards per carry all game long becomes Jim Brown. May I add, over Spencer's side. Luv that contract.

But wait II, Claiborne sells out on 5 yard slant with a 3rd an Ten and gets a penalty. Instead of just tackling the guy at the catch. Nope, need to make the spectacular when the average would be perfect.

Game over.

Bad coaching on offense was the main issue, but they still have to cut out the mistakes in the red zone. I still can't believe they called a ******* screen on 3rd and goal when they're back about 5. Dez had been beating Flowers all day, and he's got about 5 inches on the guy. I'm still baffled by it.

I'm disappointed that they still aren't consistent, but it's week two. It's not like they got blown out. We'll see how they do next week.

I hated Garrett from day 1.

I hated the fact he got the job over Sparano.

I hate the fact he is unimaginative.

I hate that we can never run the ball with this guy.

I hated he never did anything as an OC or QB Coach to get the job.

He is a Princeton kid with ZERO accomplishments professionally other than being a butt boy for Troy Aikman and Jerrah.

Oh, he won one (1) Thanksgiving Game in 1994?

But this is why I say it all starts at the top.

That wasn't a flare to Witten. At least pay attention if you are going to insult people. The name you are looking for is Murray.

Why in the world would you call a RB flare with less than 20 seconds left without any timeouts?

Why would you run INSIDE after catching that ball if you're Murray? Run out of bounds.

Why would you throw the ball to your RB 1 yard inside the end zone with that much time left? Throw it away or audible that abortion of a play call in the huddle.

Offense is a COMPLETE trainwreck and honestly much worse off than when Garrett was fully running the show without the booth. If Murray doesn't get it on track this year we're going to need to invest in a running back our we're going to be mired in this mediocrity for a long time.

The offensive display today was absolutely sickening. We are better than this and honestly I feel the "coaching" on the offensive side of the ball is extremely lacking. Callahan is a worse coordinator than Garrett and I wouldn't have even begun to think that was possible heading into the season.

Whew. Now to back up from the ledge.

The defense played VERY well. We need improvement on pump fakes and edge containment but overall we play very well as a unit.

There are some silver linings on offense. Romo is hurt and it's obvious when throwing across his body. Bernie once again looked very mediocre and definitely looks to be the weak link perhaps with Waters there full time we'll see some improvement. Hanna quietly had an excellent game. Witten is Witten. Aside from one TERRIBLE drop by Dez he had an excellent game and really forced the Chiefs to adapt to him.

Overall:
*We CANNOT afford to kick field goals in the red zone. If that trend continues we will lose a lot of heartbreakers.

*We must be more efficient with our running game OR resort to using quick throws to replace the running game. Too often we called down the field plays into the face of a blitz.

*TAKE THE CHAINS OFF THIS OFFENSE. I don't care if it means pushing Callahan back out of the booth and letting JG have the playcalling reigns back. The display of offensive playcalling today might have been the worst that I've seen since JG came.

1. I was puking. A chunk must have gotten in my eye. Who cares. Witten, Murray, whatever. Same problem.

2. Sadly we are not.

3. Except when it matters.

4. And let me remind everyone, allegedly Romo has a say in the play calling now so ......
