Raditude is not very good imo. I enjoy listening to it just because I'm a die-hard Weezer fan and love Rivers' voice, but I expect most to hate it, and rightfully so. The lyrics are unbelievably shallow and just terrible. There's no song that really sticks out either, like "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived" did on the Red Album. "Love is the Answer" and "In the Mall" are painful to listen to while "I'm Your Daddy" and "Put Me Back Together" are good, harmless fun and I'd say are the best tracks. That being said though, a disappointing effort from Weezer and a disappointing direction they took with their music. I wouldn't be surprised to see Raditude get a 0.0 on Pitchfork.

As I've said reviews have been polar so far. I refuse to listen before November 3rd

Knowing Pitchfork, it won't get an even numbered rating. And if the album is as bad as you say, I could see it getting a 0.3 or something arbitrary like that. The people who rate albums on there are ridiculous.
Currently playing:
"Window Blues" - Lykke Li

It's pretty good. Not sure after one listen if it's better than Colors, but it's pretty ambitious (an ~18 minute song = zomgz prog metalz).

I listened to the new BTBAM yesterday and after one listen I really do not think it's better than Colors. More progressive? Slightly. More ambitious? Doubtful. Colors had so much going on in each song that made them unique. I hate to say this because I'm a huge fan of BTBAM but there is only three songs that stand out on this new album: Mirrors, Fossil Genera, and Desert of Song with Fossil Genera probably being the best track overall.

One of my favorite songs of the 90s. I've loved it ever since I first heard it.
