Speaking of live performances.....probably my favorite of the past year:
Quite possibly, either that or Mumford & Sons at Bonnaroo. So much energy for both of these. This is one of my favorite songs, and Cage the Elephant is becoming one of my favorite bands.

When you guys say "energy" do you mean energy from the crowd?
Depends, sometimes its a real focused energy, not necessarily moving around or doing things crazy, but when you can tell the emotion being put into the music, whether they are absolutely still or flying around like crazy, it just makes it that much better, and will fuel the crowd. For me its all about the emotion put into the music, and the crowd can add to it as well. That's how I think about it anyway.

Big fan of the shins... really like this song, everybody does it seems.
And fischy, it may have been you telling me about Wilco a long time ago (probably 3-4 years ago at this point), but yeah, I've grown to like their music a lot, especially in the past few months...

Also, this is a friend of a friend of mine, who I've met a few times. I had no idea how good this guys voice was. But this song is the first I've heard of his and thought I should share it. I also know the guy who plays the harmonica in this song, and he, as you'll find out, is sick as well. Give it a listen, I was very impressed by this song and figured I'll share it and hopefully you guys can get something out of it too. If you're an Amos Lee fan, you will really like this song.

The more I listen to El Camino, the more I love it. I was a huge fan of Thickfreakness, but TBK really stepped up their game on the newest one. Really great album, all the way through. Little Black Submarines is also an absolutely stellar track.
