When PP first went down I would've said very little chance, now, I'm fairly confident.
It's really a matter of matchups. I think if we get a 10 there won't be too much concern about a team having good big men at the 7 seed.
Teams like Louisville, Stanford, UCLA, UNC and Kansas would really give us a hard time. Any guard oriented team I'm confident against. I think this team is very capable of a sweet 16 run but it's a matter of matchups and like with any team, luck.

Bruce Pearl is a piece of slime that ruined Illini Basketball for years. If it means anything I like Sampson more than Pearl...Yep I said it.

Badgers are gonna be a two seed as long as they don't lose to Iowa or Michigan in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tourney

Damn, I was hoping that by some miracle UK would crack into spot 25. Maybe in the AP.

Mason will be a team to watch in the tourny, Folarin Campbell and Will Thomas were arguably their two best players when they made the final 4, and now both are seniors and much better, especially Thomas, and Campbell as a point. Thomas is one of the best pure "college" big men. They have some good guards, problem is frontcourt depth but even two years ago that wasn't a problem. If they find their swag again they can make a sweet 16 run, and who knows from then. Lightning could strike again.

Im not gonna say they'll make a run at the sweet 16 but if Belmont gets a 14 seed, depending on who they play in the first round I'd say don't be surprised if they can pull an upset.

I just watched a story on the BTN about DJ White...he seems like a stand up guy, and I like the fact that he stuck around for 4 years (not that he had a lot of other options)...where in the draft will he go, does anyone have a good estimate?
I hate Indiana, but I love to see players that really seem to care about their universities and appreciate the opportunities they were given.

Really bothered me to hear the ESPN talking heads list SD as one of UK's terrible losses (in the same breath with Gardner-Webb), they're not a bad team. They nearly won the outright WCC title, beat St. Mary's twice.

I know some people don't like him, but I think he's going to be a good player in the NBA, he has great touch around the basket, but obviously he's also very strong and can finish through contact, along with being a great rebounder. I see him being a Paul Milsap type player.
