Yeah, the Big East will end up getting 9 teams, but only 1 or 2 will be in the Elite 8.

LOL not to mention in both Sagarin and Pomeroy the Big East is ranked as the 3rd best conference, computers can't buy into the hype.

But they do have Georgetown ranked ahead of Kentucky.

And we're ranked ahead of Marquette and Villanova who are ahead of us in the polls. Also behind West Virginia, a team with one more loss that we beat. Never said they were perfect. You would think with as amazing as ESPN and the press in the north east tabs the BE as being they could at least muster up a 2nd ranking in terms of conferences.

Let's just all agree the PAC-10 gets screwed over in both football and basketball. At least the Big 10 and SEC have the benefit of being favored plenty of times in football, but outside of USC, no one else in the PAC-10 has the luxury of ever given the benefit of the doubt. =(

But in some happier news, for the first time in program history, ASU is the highest ranked team out of any PAC-10 team in an AP poll.

Washington totally got ripped in the polls this week, UK got more votes in the coaches poll which is a joke... Washington should be ahead of us.

Oklahoma is going to be tough in March.

Oklahoma not getting a #1 seed in March if the season ended today is also a joke. I think that they have a SERIOUS chance at winning the NC. Them and Wake are my picks to meet in the NC game.

UK looks tired. We're getting destroyed on the boards and have already given up 76 to Ole Miss.

I guess this is just one of those dud's teams throw up in conference play, at least I hope.

So because refs call games tighter you're telling me that Wisconsin has been a complete failure in the NCAA tournament in recent history? That's a bit of a strech. Refs calling games tighter isn't going to cause Texas A&M Corpus-Christi jumping out to a big lead on Wisconsin and it isn't going to cause losing to mid-majors like UNLV.

That's a big, big win for Villanova's resume. Granted it was at home, but also against the #3 team in the country that many feel is the best team in the Big East, plus they never play at the Palestra.

I am gonna do the pre-empting on the Duke hating. I am so ******* sick when people get on their panties in a bundles and get on their knees and thank their God when Duke loses one damn game. They were playing the number 4 team in the nation, and Wake is a good team. Sure, I like Duke, but UWM is my favorite team now obviously, but come on, why hate on Duke? Sure the media loves them, the refs give them calls, and they get way more games on TV than other teams, but why hate a team in the tune that Duke gets hated on? Is it for the Christin Laetner stepping on the Kentucky's guy throat? I don't think it can be that cuz Kentucky isn't exactly the most popular team in the nation. A dude from Houston stepped on a dude's head, and I don't hear people saying I hate Houston. How can u hate Coach K? I know the media looks at him and his teams like the Gods of basketball, but c'mon its not like Duke controls what ESPN says. Coach K is a great basketball coach. Here I will say the same thing I say to people bitching about the Yankees, u guys are bitching cuz they can spend money and get all the media hype, so what? That doesn't mean they are champions or anything. Just shut up, quit hating, and accept the fact that Duke may be better than u, and so maybe the Yankees. I hate haters.
