For example if they did a small tournament with the top 10 teams in the country, I guarantee Duke doesn't win that.

No team ANY year can control what other teams do in the tourney. They can only control their own game. Do you guys realize how absurd it sounds to say a team winning was the result of their match ups and others'? That could be said EVERY year for EVERY team then. Its ridiculous.

Really though, these are (potentially) two HUGE pieces to what could be the greatest recruiting class of all time.

Yall should be fun to watch yet again :).

That's exactly what I said. Most times the best team doesn't win. It's the team who has the pieces fall in line for them. You can't downgrade a champion for having an easier route, but it still doesn't mean they were the best team in the country. I went to George Mason but I can easily say they were not a top 4 team in the country let alone top 10.

Gilchrist, Teague already
Chandler rumored to have swapped out of his UL commitment to give UK a look, wants to play with Teague.
Quincy Miller has all kind of pictures on his twitter decked out in UK stuff but he's also considering Duke, Baylor and won't decide till late probably. UK is considered the leader but Duke isn't far off.
Wroten called UK his new #1 after the Gilchrist commit. Has played with Teague and enjoyed it. Put on his twitter that if Teague committed he might not be far behind. Today put "I need to take my visit to UK ASAPPPPP". Regardless of where he commits, his twitter is pretty entertaining lol.
All 5 are in the 2011 top 10.
Terrence Jones to announce April 30th between Kentucky, UCLA, Oregon, Washington and Oklahoma. His mom said KU wasn't in the picture.

Dana Altman (Creighton's coach) might be Oregon's guy now. Took the Arkansas job 3 years ago and backed out at the absolute last second.

if Leslie goes UK i am 90% certain we get Terrence Jones. Ross was a real nice pick-up, Jones will be the icing though.
which makes Wroten in 2011 the embazzlement? or new cake layer?

Some random ESPN site claiming Leslie will announce UK but it's really hard to get a read on him and Jones.
Billy Gillispie lobbying for the Iowa State job... Would be an odd fit with the Eustachy situation in the past but I think he'd be a really good fit there.

Rumor is the Mayor is already set to be the next Iowa St. coach.
I'd be so pissed if Gillispie gets hired at Iowa st.

Yea, supposedly a lot of coaches have contacted Iowa St. I'm taking that with a grain of salt, but I do believe the reports that Gillispie had legit interest.
He would be a really good fit for Iowa St. imo. I really wanted him at Iowa. I don't care about his past, he would be able to bring attention back to the program and hopefully attract some talent.
But yea, if it's true, not sure about the Hoiberg hiring. Especially with the caliber of coaches that were allegedly interested.
