Greg Olsen and Garrett Wolfe are missing too. This is such a complete non-issue.

I have no problem with Favre. I was just the one that in 2003-2004 when the media was still completely up his asshole saying that he was selfish and not a good fit for a team that was on the verge of rebuilding.

It's just now 3 years later that the rest of the people are seeing what I've been saying. I would have traded him two years ago. I understand the sentimental value, and the fun that will come out of him breaking the records with a Packers uniform on, but from an organizational standpoint he's holding the team back.
I couldn't agree with you more than I do. I think he should have retired after that embarrassing game he had against the Vikings in the '04 playoffs. Right now, he is holding the organization hostage. He is in charge, and those who have the power to make changes are scared of the repercussions of trading away a legend.

Nobody would trade for Favre. He's either in Green Bay or retired. Favre gives the Packers a better chance to win than any other QB on their roster. Therefore, I can't fault the Packers for keeping him around.

I didn't see anybody call it a travesty. I just think it's stupid that the NFL is forcing players to miss mandatory minicamps.

Shows you where the NFL's heart is... in their Greed filled pockets. I know it's hard to make the transition to the NFL, and even more difficult when you can't get to your mini-camps. This should have been addressed in the CBA.
