Have been listening to the radio on and off today and haven't heard anything.
Unclear if Haynesworth is here yet, doesn't sound like it.

Ok, thanks. I hadn't found anything either. But you guys are tied in so if it happened, I know you'd know.

Sweet. Maybe he'll be a superdouche right off the bat and be cut before he even steps foot on Patriots ground.

Yeah, Haynesworth was apparently there today watching the team, not available to the media or anything.
Chad got 85 from Hernandez, who has switched to 81.

He was asked what he thought about the Jets pursuing Nnamdi Asomugha to cover him and he said "Child, Please! No one can cover Chad. I'm going to get open and when I do, I'm going to score. I'm going to celebrate. Do you think I care if I get fined? I'm getting fined this week. I'm going to celebrate."

I'm thrilled to have Ocho in town.
Anything over 700 / 6 would be stellar.

We'll certainly have to see what that means. Marcus Spears is out there and would be able to fill in as a base end. Not sure how I feel about that, but he's the only one who really fits the scheme as it's presently constituted. Cullen Jenkins is more of an attacking base end, but I wouldn't mind him either. He's on track to get Cowboys money though.

I've seen Curran in a Dunkin Doughnuts before. Slightly unrelated, but it makes me harder to take him seriously as a source of breaking news haha.
I certainly wouldn't mind though, I just wonder what that would mean for the base formation. Overhauling to a 4-3 just doesn't seem smart with a shortened pre-season period.

I am hoping for Matt Roth first and foremost. Good pass rusher and can set the edge, pretty much all we need from our elephant. Has 3-4 experience in Mangini's scheme and weighs 275 pounds. Perfect. Other than that, maybe a Cullen Jenkins or Manny Lawson would be nice assuming they agreed to a reasonable contract. Aside from that, I'm not sure whether or not the Patriots are really looking to make a splash, or simply trying to trim some of the fat off of the cap and get younger/healthier wherever possible.

I really have a feeling Lawson could do well here, even if he took Guyton's roster spot.

This was a move I was expecting when we drafted Ron Brace. Unfortunately he was unable to live up to expectations. I can't wait to get back to the days of having two beefcakes in the middle of the line(aka the last time we won a championship!).

Why do people keep bringing up switching to a 4-3 every year?
If the Pats are bringing in a guy, it's because they think he fits in with what they do and is athletic enough to conform to the various schemes they roll out.

Yea, I'm not buying the 43 stuff. Our base will remain odd but of course we'll give 43 looks, especially in our sub packages.
This just got interesting though... Seeing get cut (and that it adds no cap relief) makes me think the injury still lingers.
Or, they're thinking long term and want the cap relief for next year... (shrug)
We shall see, I guess
Will G.Warren be back? I haven't heard his name out there.
