Strengths:
Pretty good size and bulk...A terrific natural athlete...Quick and agile with good speed...Very active with a great motor...Does a nice job in pursuit...Gets off the snap in a hurry...Has a knack for rushing the passer...Good instincts and awareness...Hard worker...Still has upside.
Weaknesses:
Still needs to get stronger...Has trouble getting off blocks...Isn't very powerful...Gets run out of too many plays...Repertoire of pass rush moves is limited...Doesn't always use proper leverage...Is basically a liability against the run...Relatively raw and he isn't technically sound.
Notes:
Was a three-year starter for the Illini...Began his college career on offense as a wide receiver / tight end in 2005...Moved to the defensive line in 2006...Named 2nd Team All-Big Ten as a junior...Has seven brothers and two sisters...Mom played basketball for the Liberian national team and his uncle, John Davis, played soccer for Liberia...Is not real flashy but definitely has some tools to work with and develop.
