Stars
Strengths:
Excellent athlete...Terrific speed...Quick and shows some explosion at the snap...Good balance and agility...Long arms and big hands...Great motor...Will penetrate and make plays in the backfield...Able to shed blockers...Mobile with good range...Does a nice job in pursuit...Plays with pretty good leverage...Tough...Good work ethic...Still has upside.

Weaknesses:
Short and squatty...Frame is essentially maxed out...Needs to hit the weights and get stronger...Can be neutralized by double teams...Is not stout at the point...Doesn't hold up well against the run...Must use his hands better...Durability is a big concern...Was not overly productive.

Notes:
Was a three-year starter in the SEC...While recruiting another player Tommy Tuberville saw this guy dunk a basketball and offered him a scholarship on the spot...Appeared in three games but redshirted in 2005...Started at defensive tackle in 2006 and earned numerous Freshman All-American honors...Moved outside to defensive end in 2007 and played part of the season with a hernia, which later required surgery to repair...Moved back inside to defensive tackle in 2008 and despite being hampered by ankle injuries all year long was named 2nd Team All-SEC...Talented player who came out after a so-so junior campaign and probably would've gone much higher next year...Has the tools to be an impact player but needs to take full advantage of a pro strength program and stay healthy...Prototypical three-technique.
