Great size and bulk...Has long arms and big hands...Above average athleticism...Quick with decent speed...Nice balance and agility...Is mobile with great range...Does a nice job in pursuit...Has a good motor...Offers some positional and schematic versatility...Has upside.

Weaknesses:
Is not real strong or powerful...Won't offer much as a pass rusher...A limited repertoire of moves...Lacks great awareness...Doesn't always use proper leverage...Poor hand use...Raw and not a great technician.

Attended Milford Academy prep school for a year (2004) after high school...Was a three-year starter...Earned extensive playing time as a true freshman...Took over a starting job in 2006...Blocked three kicks in 2007...Named 1st Team All-MAC in 2008...Was the Owls Defensive MVP in '07 and '08...A team captain as a senior...Could play defensive tackle in a 4-3 or defensive end in a 3-4 at the next level...Intriguing prospect with some exciting physical tools but is still a bit of a project.
