Stars
Strengths:
Good bulk...Gets a terrific push in the run game...Stout at the point of attack...Good instincts and awareness...Tough...Durable...Has a lot of experience...Great work ethic...Team Leader...Offers some versatility.

Weaknesses:
Shorter than you'd prefer...Small hands...Needs to get stronger...Is not super powerful...Mediocre footwork...Poor balance...Isn't mobile and has trouble in space...Struggles  to  recover...Is not a great athlete.

Notes:
Cousin, Lovett Purnell, played in the NFL for New England (1996-98) and Baltimore (1999)...A four-year starter for the Panthers...Played left guard most of his career but moved to center the last half of his senior year...Could also project to center at the next level...A bit of an overachiever with excellent intangibles but relatively average physical tools...Has a shot to play in the pros but might profile best as a backup.
