Strengths:
Excellent athlete...Fast and quick with a burst...Good pass rusher...Is pretty physical...Fluid hips for a linebacker and does a terrific job in coverage...Offers a lot of versatility...Big time special teams potential.

Weaknesses:
'Tweener who may not have a true pro position...Extreme lack of bulk for a linebacker...Not very strong or powerful...Questionable instincts and awareness..Struggles to take on and shed blockers...Still very raw.

Notes:
Could also project to safety at the next level...Played in all 12 games as a reserve free safety in 2005...Shifted to outside linebacker in 2006 and played in all 13 games as a backup...Remained at linebacker in 2007 and earned four starts...Was moved to cornerback in 2008 and started 7 games...Missed time with an ankle injury as a senior...Won't be a good fit for everyone but could compete for a roster spot with a team that's willing to sacrifice size in favor of speed and athleticism...A versatile backup who will likely have to earn his keep on special teams.
