Strengths:
Good athleticism...Nice instincts...Reads and reacts quickly...Has a nose for the ball...Real tough...Good strength...Smooth and fluid in coverage...Is able to take on and shed blockers...Decent hands and ball skills...Has shown some potential as a pass rusher...Doesn't get caught up in traffic...A team leader...Is intense and competitive...Productive.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't have great bulk...Just average athleticism...Is not real stout at the point...Has some technique issues that need work...Doesn't have great feet...Is not a powerful tackler...Has some durability concerns.

Notes:
A two-year starter for the Mountaineers...Named 1st Team All-Big East as a senior...Tore the ACL in his right knee in April of 2006 but amazingly returned in time to play in 11 games that season...Could realistically project to any of the three linebacker positions in a 4-3 scheme...Solid all-around player whose physical tools are just average but intangibles have helped him overcome those deficiencies thus far.
