Strengths:
Good size with a large frame and room to add more weight...Very athletic...Light on his feet...Nice speed and quickness...Mobile with good range to pull and get to the second level...Shows the ability to recover when beat...Intelligent with good awareness...Still has upside.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't play to his workout numbers...Must continue bulking up...Not very powerful...Needs to get stronger...Is not very stout at the point of attack...Doesn't get a great push in the run game...Plays too tall at times...A poor cut blocker...Has durability concerns...Underachiever.

Notes:
Considered to be one of the Top 50 recruits in the country coming out of high school...A prep teammate of Nate Swift, who is also a prospect in this draft...Never really lived up to the hype as a Husker and started just 23 games in college...Suffered a leg injury and redshirted in 2004...Hurt his knee in a motor vehicle accident in 2005...Has shoulder problems dating back to his high school days and went under the knife in 2005...2007 season came to a premature end due to a broken toe...Missed time in 2008 with a staph infection and muscle pull...1st Team academic All-Big 12 in 2007...Really blew it up at the Scouting Combine, leading all offensive linemen in the forty, 3-Cone drill and 20-Yard Shuttle...Classic "Workout Warrior" with a world of unfulfilled potential but he will need to stay healthy to maximize it...Finesse blocker and an intriguing developmental prospect who will most likely be selected much earlier than his tape suggests he should.
