Very strong leg...Smooth...Technically sound...Great hangtime...Good directional ability...Lots of big-time experience...Excellent bloodlines.
Weaknesses:
Has some serious character concerns...Will out-kick his coverage at times...Probably won't kick off in the pros...Elevation is inconsistent.
Notes:
Was a four-year starter for the Volunteers...Father (Craig), Brother (Dustin) and Cousin (Jimmy) all punted for the Vols...Was named 1st Team All-SEC in 2006 and 2nd Team in 2007...Only had one attempt blocked during his entire college career...Was suspended in 2004 following multiple alcohol-related charges stemming from several incidents...Was suspended again in 2008, this time for 5 games, and stripped of his scholarship following an arrest on charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident...Definitely has the talent to play in the NFL but off-the-field troubles may prevent him from ever fulfilling that potential...Is not as good as Dustin was coming out but would be a draftable prospect based strictly on talent.
