Weaknesses:
Not a great athlete...Can be wildly inconsistent...Lacks great accuracy and touch...Makes too many bad decisions...Tends to stare down his targets...Isn't very mobile...Footwork will have to be tweaked...Did not play in a pro style offense..Leadership ability has been questioned.

Uncle, Jay Venzin, lettered as offensive guard for Purdue in 1975 and 1976...Grandfather, Donald Beck, played basketball for Boilermakers from 1953 to 1955...Was a four-year starter in the Big Ten...Has his name all over the Purdue record books and set the Big Ten mark for passing yards in a season in 2006...Missed time with a separated right shoulder as a senior...Will attempt to follow in the footsteps of Drew Brees and Kyle Orton...Has some tools that lead you to believe he can play in the NFL but his intangibles are still a significant question mark.
