Stars
Strengths:
Prototypical height and bulk...Very strong arm and can make all the throws...Decent touch and timing...Will lead his targets...Tosses a nice deep ball...Tough...Hard worker...Team leader...Still has some upside.

Weaknesses:
Does not have a lot of experience...Not a great athlete...Is not overly accurate...Slow feet and isn't mobile...Still refining his delivery and mechanics...Questionable awareness...Poor pocket presence...Takes too many chances...Decision making is a major concern...Inconsistent.

Notes:
Just a one-year starter...Was stuck behind current Green Bay Packer Brian Brohm for most of his college career and was widely considered to be the best backup quarterback in the country...Finally got an opportunity to start in 2008 but the results weren't as impressive as expected...Has made a concerted effort to tweak his throwing motion to speed up that delivery since the end of his senior season...Classic pocket passer...A developmental signal caller who has some physical tools to work with and just might be worth taking a late round flyer on.
