Official Bio

Stars
Strengths:
Good bulk and a solid frame...Terrific mechanics...Gets rid of the ball quickly...Does a nice job on short throws...Decent athlete with some mobility...Tough and durable...Smart and can read a defense...Hard worker...Team leader...Has lots of experience versus top competition.

Weaknesses:
Does not have the height that you look for...Does not have a strong arm...Accuracy leaves something to be desired...Gets a lot of his throws batted down...Doesn't throw well on the run...Has trouble throwing the ball downfield...Isn't a big threat to run ... Limited upside.

Notes:
A three-year starter in the SEC...The owner of 12 Crimson Tide records including career passing yards, touchdown passes and total yards...Took a step backwards statistically as a senior but did a superb job of managing the offense for a top ranked team...Fine college player but a very average pro prospect and gets by on intangibles rather than physical tools...Not nearly as good of a prospect as Brodie Croyle was coming out of Alabama a few years ago...Even in a best-case scenario he will probably never be more than a #3 signal caller at the next level.
