Average timed speed...Not explosive and lacks a burst...Does not get a lot of separation...Isn't a vertical threat...Needs to get stronger...Not a great route runner...Room to grow as a blocker...Character concerns?
Notes:
Was a three-year starter for the Pirates...Began his college career as a quarterback...Redshirted in 2004 then did not see any action in 2005 as the reserve signal caller...Reluctantly made the move to tight end in 2006 and earned 6 starts...Started 12 games in 2007 and was named Honorable Mention All-Conference USA...Had a terrific 2008 season, starting every game and once again garnering Honorable Mention All- Conference USA notice...Really fought the move to tight end in 2005 and was suspended late in the season for two games after walking out of a practice...Developing H-Back prospect with some very intriguing physical tools to work with..Best football's still probably ahead of him.
