Strengths:
Adequate height...Soft hands...Great body control and ball skills...Is more quick than fast...Elusive and dangerous after the catch...Proven vertical threat who can separate and stretch the field..Real productive.
Weaknesses:
Has a slight frame...Just average timed speed...Is not very strong or physical...Struggles to get off the line...Health and durability are big concerns...Didn't play in a pro style offense...Never really a return man...Bounced around a lot...Only two years of Division I experience.
Notes:
Didn't qualify academically out of high school...Played at two different junior colleges before joining the Golden Hurricane's...Broke a 30-year-old NCAA record for average yards per catch in a single-season as a junior...Was named 2nd Team All-Conference USA in '07...Tore his right ACL on the final offensive play of the Conference USA Championship game (December 5, 2008)...Only started 11 games at Tulsa...Had an extremely rough upbringing and was homeless at times...Wasn't able to participate in the pre-Draft process and his availability for the 2009 season is in question...Probably profiles as a #3 or #4 wideout at the next level...Underrated prospect who could be a nice Late Round / UDFA steal for a team that is willing to be patient.
