Quick with a burst and plays faster than he times...Reliable hands...Is elusive with excellent vision and instincts...Runs great routes...Tough and plays bigger than he is...Super competitive...Good ball skills and body control...Great work ethic...Team leader...Fantastic return man.
Weaknesses:
Just average height and bulk...Short arms...Doesn't have blazing timed speed...Not much of a leaper...Isn't very strong or physical...Doesn't get a ton of separation...Has some off-the-field issues...Limited upside.
Notes:
Last name is pronounced "straw-ter"...Saw extensive action as a reserve in 2004 and 2005...Enjoyed a breakout season in 2006 and was named 2nd Team All-Pac 10 and a 3rd Team All-American as an all-purpose player...Battled some personal problems in 2007 then ultimately redshirted after he lacerated his kidney...Was diagnosed with severe depression in 2007 after a number of people he was close to passed away...Averaged 9.7 yards on 127 punt returns with 3 touchdowns and 20.9 yards on 18 kick returns during his college career...A three-time Pac-10 All-Academic selection...Doesn't have all the physical tools you look for but makes up for it with top intangibles and is just a good all-around football player...Probably isn't starting material at the next level but can excel as a backup and special teamer.
