Q&A with Wisconsin OL Michael Deiter at the 2019 Senior Bowl
Scott Wright: What are you hearing from teams position-wise?
Michael Deiter:Â Guard and center. Â Definitely not much left tackle. Â Left guard, center, right guard. Â Either one of those. Â I probably feel the most comfortable at left guard right now just because that’s where I’ve been playing a lot lately.
Scott Wright: What concerns have you heard about your game that you’d like to dispel this week?
Michael Deiter:Â I would say pass protection and just general technique. Â Sometimes getting too high or too narrow with my base. Â All that technique I can clean up and then just being a consistent players. Â That’s what I’m here to do.
Scott Wright: I’ve got to get your thoughts on a couple of Badgers teammates.  Give me the one sentence scouting reports on Beau Benzschawel and David Edwards.
Michael Deiter:Â Benzschawel: Â Huge dude who is a mauler in the run game and so great in the pass pro but just a massive dude. Â Edwards: Â Super smart guy, super athletic and super long. Â Really smart and plays with good technique and toughness.
Scott Wright: Is there a current NFL offensive lineman you admire and aspire to be like?
Michael Deiter:Â I try to play like Zack Martin because he’s one of the best. Â He’s a really good player and easy guy to try and mimic just because how talented and consistent he is. Â A really good guy to try and be like.
Scott Wright: I’m going to put you on the spot since you played against both of them: Â Nick Bosa or Rashan Gary? Â Who’s tougher to block?
Michael Deiter:Â I’m just going to say Nick Bosa.
