So You’re Telling Me There’s A Chance…
Lukas Van Ness, Myles Murphy, and Will McDonald appear on our final list, what do they have in common? All are Edge rushers. Thanks to that fifth-year option, quarterbacks and Edge Rushers are the premiere pieces to target in round 1. It is crazy to think about Bryan Bresee and Michael Mayer falling that far but stranger things have happened.
Looking over this list, it makes a lot of sense to me, players and team fits. Looking at my Detroit Lions, after the trade of Jeff Okudah, I could see cornerback on the table at either pick. Calijah Kancey seems like more of a reach, I still see him as a 2nd round prospect.Â
I also still think Will Levis is the consensus #3 quarterback in this class, Anthony Richardson really needed some more time in college to develop. Both players have plenty of red flags but at least we have a better idea of the floor with Levis, Richardson could need to sit for 2-3 years while he learns the pro game. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Hendon Hooker snuck up into the 1st round, starting to hear more about a connection to the Minnesota Vikings, who pick at 23.
Thanks for Stopping By!
