2024 Buffalo Bills Team Mock

Yes, it’s somewhat early for this, but then again time flies and if we don’t start team mocks early we get tight against the clock real fast. So we begin with the BILLS in a year where their Draft efforts must be very successful.

They are up against the Salary Cap with some of the highest-price vets past their playing prime. And they have already moved past the “low-cost QB” stage with Josh Allen.

So the big question for upper Management, while their personnel people hit Draft prep hard, is which players to move on from and how to do it in the least damaging way, to avoid a mother lode of dead Cap money on their books.

Looking at their end-of-season roster they had a significant half dozen players at 32 years old and up. They include both starting Safeties (HYDE/POYER) at 33 and VON MILLER (35) with a choker of a salary figure. But the best I can do is draw up a Mock  Draft that provides as much talent, at positions of need, as possible. BILLS Brass can play accounting games with that expensive, aging vet issue.

They have a healthy 10-Pick Draft to work with so let’s go get some talent.

1-28    CHRIS BRASWELL    ER/DE   Alabama     6’3/257

Replaces  Von Miller

2-60   MALACHI CORLEY   WR     W. Kentucky.     5’11/215

Great RAC guy with RB frame

3-99     COLE BISHOP    S      Utah      6’2/210

Replaces either POYER or HYDE

4-128     KENDALL MILTON    RB   Georgia    6’1/220

Replaces Latavius MURRAY

5-158     ERIC WATTS      DE/ER     UConn     6’6/275

Replaces Leonard FLOYD/EPENESA, VFA

5-161      CHRIS MAHOGANY    OG    Boston College    6’3/320

Talented big dude

6-197     GARRET  GREENFIELD   OT     S. Dakota St      6’7/320

Athletic, seasoned OT prospect

6-201       JERMAINE BURTON     WR      6’0/195

Showed flashes of greatness for ‘Bama

6-205     QWAN’TEZ STIGGERS     DB    6’0/205    CFL

Good sized CFL RoY-D

7-245     MYLES MURPHY     DT      UNC     6’4/312

Shows flashes of gap penetration

My goal was twofold in the above selections. Find players to potentially replace fading/expensive vets, and bring in players who can all make the 53-man roster and contribute as Rookies.

Cheers all
