Las Vegas Raiders Hit Day Three Home Run With Jermod McCoy

Las Vegas raiders 2026 NFL Draft

The Las Vegas Raiders came into the 2026 NFL Draft with the first overall selection in the Draft. As the NFL Draft approached, the Raiders made it clear that they would select Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza with their first overall selection. While it’s unlikely that he’ll start to begin the season, it is clear that Mendoza is the future for the Raiders. As an organization that has struggled to consistently compete, they entered the NFL Draft with an opportunity to turn the franchise around.

2026 NFL Draft Picks

1st Round – Pick 1 – Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
2nd Round – Pick 38 – Treydan Stukes, S, Arizona
3rd Round – Pick 91 – Trey Zuhn III, IOL, Texas A&M
4th Round – Pick 101 – Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
4th Round – Pick 122 – Mike Washington Jr, RB, Arkansas
5th Round – Pick 150 – Dalton Johnson, S, Arizona
5th Round – Pick 175 – Hezekiah Masses, CB, Cal
6th Round – Pick 195 – Malik Benson, WR, Oregon
7th Round – Pick 229 – Brandon Cleveland, DT, NC State

The Las Vegas Raiders weren’t afraid to move up or down their draft board as they saw fit. In the second round, they moved back two spots, exchanging a fourth-round for a third-round. Further, they moved up several times to nab players at key positions. However, the most impressive value for the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 NFL Draft was CB Jermod McCoy in the 4th. McCoy was considered by many draft analysts as first-round value. Despite this, degenerative knee concerns caused him to drop off the board and into day three. Eventually, the Raiders traded up to select him.
