Once again, the Missouri Tigers are in a position to make waves in the SEC. The Tigers are 2-1 in conference play, but have big matchups ahead of them. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz has his team playing well, especially on offense. One star on offense is junior TE Brett Norfleet. A two-sport athlete in high school, having also played baseball, Norfleet came to Missouri to play both sports. However, following the 2023 season, he opted to focus on football instead. That work has paid off for Brett Norfleet, as he has made a name for himself and appears on multiple 2026 NFL Draft boards.
Brett Norfleet is one of the most underrated TEs in CFB

Brett Norfleet is having the best year of his career for Missouri, his first as a starting tight end. Through seven games this season, Norfleet has tallied five touchdowns on 25 receptions. Norfleet had a breakout game against Kansas earlier this season. He finished that game with 7 receptions for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns.
NFL Mock Draft Database currently has Brett Norfleet ranked 191st on their consensus big board. That would be good enough for the sixth round in the 2026 NFL Draft. However, it should be noted that our own Brian Bosarge included Brett Norfleet in his latest Top 125 board, ranking him 83rd.
While he’s just a junior this season, Brett Norfleet still offers significant upside in the 2026 NFL Draft. If he does declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, Brett Norfleet would likely perform well throughout the pre-draft process, including the NFL Combine. If he is offered a spot in an all-star game, look for Norfleet to show out at the Shrine Bowl.
