It’s never too early to start thinking about the future, and in this case, two years into the future. Let’s do that with a 2027 NFL Mock Draft! The 2024 recruiting class was extremely strong, and you’ve already had some talking heads say the 2027 NFL Draft may be one of the “best classes ever” (allegedly). I definitely like a ton of the players that could hear their names called when we get to 2027, but before we toot the horn too loudly, let’s mock this bad boy out and see what we get! FYI, I’m going to use Tankathon’s 2026 Draft order for this mock. Obviously, we know that will look different, but two years is a long time!

2027 NFL Mock Draft Analysis
I’m guessing 3-4 QBs are looked at as day one picks in this class (at least today), as there is some good talent at the top of this group. Raiola’s already looking the part in the reps we’ve seen, Lagway & Sayin have a ton of upside, and I think Kromenhoek could develop into a top option. I watched his reps last year and, though raw, saw potential. Love his size and has some wiggle if he needs to break out and run the ball. I don’t see a ton of tight end and running back help to go early, but Reynolds and Frazier could be dark horse candidates based on their potential and the teams they both went to.
There is also a ton of potential trench help for teams, and based on what we’ve been seeing in the draft as of late, we should see a heavy dose of offensive and defensive lineman hear their names called in the first round of the 2027 draft. When you look at the back seven, I could see a couple of linebackers, but I know that as of late, we haven’t seen a ton of them drafted in round one. There are some corners and safeties that I like a lot, so I found ways to get them in this mock, but safety is another position we haven’t seen a lot go in round one as of late.
