Background Profile

Hilton Dekeith “Deuce” Alexander II starred at Douglas County High School in Douglasville, Georgia, finishing his prep career with 1,435 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns while also winning a county championship in the 400-meter dash. The son of former NFL wide receiver Hilton Alexander, Deuce spent two seasons at Wake Forest before transferring to Ole Miss in 2025. He quickly became an electric and dynamic playmaker in the SEC, helping guide the Rebels to a College Football Playoff berth. Entering the 2026 season, he switched his jersey to #1 under new head coach Pete Golding and earned preseason All-SEC honors.

Key Strengths

• Elite Vertical Speed: Utilizes his track background to blow past defensive backs, proven by his school-record 88-yard touchdown reception.
• Body Control & Focus: Displays excellent adjustment to the football in the air, highlighted by a 32-yard diving one-handed catch in the Sugar Bowl.
• NFL Pedigree & Work Ethic: Growing up with a father who played in the NFL, he possesses a mature approach to the game, earning high praise for his conditioning and leadership.

Developmental Focus

Scouts will look for Alexander to add functional strength to his 180-pound frame to consistently beat press-man coverage at the line of scrimmage. Refining his route tree on underneath and intermediate breaking routes to complement his vertical prowess will be key to solidifying an early-round grade.

Draft Countdown Film Notes

Brian Bosarge:

• 9/6/26: 5 receptions, 159 yards, 2 TDs (7 targets) | Holy crap, what speed! He backed up the offseason hype. Alexander has nice hands and definitely has 4.3 speed.
