Pick | Team | Player | Explanation |
---|---|---|---|
| Jacksonville Jaguars | Kayvon Thibodeaux EDGE/Oregon | Thibodeaux is losing steam for the #1 overall pick, but ultimately, I still believe the Jaguars go with the best player in the draft until it becomes near official that they won't. OTs like Neal and Ekwonu will be considered, but the pass rush of Thibodeaux is just too good. |
| Detroit Lions | Aidan Hutchinson EDGE/Michigan | Hutchinson had a solid year and staying home in Michigan would be a pretty awesome story. As the Lions have built up their trenches, Hutchinson gives a stout option against the pass and the run. |
| Houston Texans | Evan Neal OT/Alabama | Neal is a mammoth and super athletic. Though he isn't quite the run game finisher nor is he consistent in pass protection, the potential is there. Wherever the Texans go at QB, they will need that outside OL piece. |
| New York Jets | Ikem Ekwonu OT/NC State | Ekwonu is just nasty and if the Jets want to get more physical, he will help. Plugging him in opposite of Becton could also help Becton reach his potential. An absolute mauler who showed great pass protection skills, Ekwonu is a top prospect. |
| New York Giants | Charles Cross OT/Mississippi State | Cross has the best feet in the draft at the OT position. He glides in his kick slide and can help protect Daniel Jones moving forward. |
| Carolina Panthers | Kyle Hamilton S/Notre Dame | The Panthers miss out on O-line prospects, but Hamilton next to Jeremy Chinn would be downright deadly. A great defense gets stronger and the Panthers can turn their sights to the offense after this. |
| New York Giants (f/ CHI) | Ahmad Gardner CB/Cincinnati | Sauce was a lockdown CB for multiple years at Cincinnati and can plug into the #1 CB spot for the Jets making their secondary very good. The Giants still have a whole in the secondary to fill and Gardner would do it. |
| Atlanta Falcons | Travon Walker DL/Georgia | Walker is likely a pass rushing EDGE player who can move around the formation as needed. As he ascends into the Top 10, getting a big, powerful athlete to go after the QB is a big priority. |
| Denver Broncos | Jermaine Johnson EDGE/Florida State | Johnson's great Senior Bowl week could propel him to be the heir to Von Miller for the Broncos. If they don't trade this pick for a QB, pass rush would be a nice addition. |
| New York Jets (f/ SEA) | Derek Stingley CB/LSU | Stingley has the athletic make-up and great freshman season. If he checks out medically, he should still be a top tier prospect. The nice thing with drafting a #1 CB is your old #1 becomes a very good #2, and the Jets can start defending the pass. |
| Washington Commanders | Malik Willis QB/Liberty | Willis has the ability to be a dynamic leader for the Commanders and bring back the classic RGIII pre-injury vibes. With his big arm too, there is a ton of potential for Terry McLaurin, Antonio Gibson, and more with Willis at the helm. |
| Minnesota Vikings | George Karlafitis EDGE/Purdue | Karlafitis seems to be "falling" in some circles, but there will be plenty of NFL teams who love his tenacity and leadership ability. A consistently good career with high end production, Karlafitis can stand up or put his hand down. With the Vikings desperately needing pass rush, this fits. |
| Cleveland Browns | Treylon Burks WR/Arkansas | Burks is just the ideal WR for the Browns offensive scheme. A big outside WR who can run slants but still go down the field is a must. He could plug right into the #1 WR spot and make a huge difference for the offense. |
| Baltimore Ravens | Trevor Penning OT/Northern Iowa | Penning is a little raw, but the size and athletic ability are there with the desperate need the Ravens have at OT. Penning bounced back from a rough Day 1 of the Senior Bowl to establish himself as a first round pick. |
| Philadelphia Eagles (f/ MIA) | Devin Lloyd LB/Utah | Lloyd seems to be the top LB in the draft with his pass coverage ability and dynamic sideline to sideline potential. A playmaking LB in the middle of the Eagles defense could make a huge difference in run defense and making big plays. |
| Philadelphia Eagles (f/ IND) | Tyler Linderbaum C/Iowa | Linderbaum is one of the best Center prospects ever blowing open holes in the run game and operating smartly as a pass protector. He is a little undersized which could be an issue, but a future franchise Center for the Eagles is huge. |
| Los Angeles Chargers | Travis Jones DL/UConn | Jones is a huge athlete who can play multiple spots. He showed how good he truly is at the Senior Bowl after double teams all season for UConn. He can add a good run defender and some pass rush to the Chargers. |
| New Orleans Saints | Kenny Pickett QB/Pittsburgh | Pickett was a late blossoming QB, but he has a good arm, some mobility and has the leadership a coach like Dennis Allen will like. Even without huge upside, Pickett is a great fit for the Saints offense. |
| Philadelphia Eagles | Drake London WR/Southern Cal | London was on a record setting pace before an ankle injury and could go even higher than this. He has great range and would give the Eagles the big 50/50 target the offense severely lacks. |
| Pittsburgh Steelers | Matt Corral QB/Mississippi | Corral checks the boxes for the Steelers as a mobile QB with a good arm and quick release. Mike Tomlin and co. certainly seem interested in drafting a future QB to groom behind Mason Rudolph. Corral could use some decision making help and has a shot to be a top NFL QB. |
| New England Patriots | Andrew Booth CB/Clemson | With JC Jackson becoming a free agent, the Patriots may need a top corner to man the defense. Booth is a solid press corner who has the athleticism and make-up speed to be a shut down CB with some development. |
| Las Vegas Raiders | Garrett Wilson WR/Ohio State | Wilson is a great route runner who can get open easily. He and Hunter Renfrow would be a fun combo for the Raiders to utilize Derek Carr's strengths and take the offense to another level. He has enough speed to be an outside deep threat too. |
| Arizona Cardinals | Trent McDuffie CB/Washington | McDuffie is getting more publicity with the expecation of blowing up the Combine. McDuffie, along with top CB prospect Kyler Gordon, locked down in Washington and could give the Cardinals a new #1 CB to improve the defense. |
| Dallas Cowboys | Perrion Winfrey DL/Oklahoma | Winfrey had a great Senior Bowl week and was dominant rushing from the inside, something the Cowboys desperately need. Adding that type of talent with some run defense could help elevate the Cowboys D. |
| Buffalo Bills | Zion Johnson G/Boston College | Johnson is a versatile interior piece who can play Guard or Center (as he showed at the Senior Bowl). A hard worker who is tough, Bills fans would love his attitude. Helping protect Josh Allen from the inside is a priority. |
| Tennessee Titans | Jameson Williams WR/Alabama | Williams has legit 4.3 speed, but a late ACL tear hurt his draft stock. The Titans have AJ Brown, but with Julio Jones own injury issues, Williams could be the guy to eventually plug in and stretch the field. Keepign safeties back against Derrick Henry would be great. |
| Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Chris Olave WR/Ohio State | Olave is a smooth route runner who has slot and outside experience. He might fall a bit due to being a touch older than the rest of the WRs, but being able to play the AB inside role or Godwin outside role should work in the Arians offense. |
| Green Bay Packers | Christian Harris LB/Alabama | Harris big National Championship should propel him back to Top 50 draft capital. If the Packers don't sign De'Vondre Campbell it becomes a mssive hole someone like Harris could fill instantly. A good athlete with some up and down play this year, Harris should be an NFL starter. |
| Miami Dolphins (f/ SF) | Nakobe Dean LB/Georgia | Dean is on the smaller side, but the rangy LB can cover and be a leader on the defense. The Dolphins have searched for a solid LB leader since Channing Crowder and Dean should fit into the defense well. |
| Kansas City Chiefs | David Ojabo EDGE/Michigan | Ojabo would be a steal this late, but the big time athlete excelled opposite of Aidan Hutchinson this past season. An explosive pass rusher, he would finally give the Chiefs the outside rush presence they need to consistently get after the QB. |
| Cincinnati Bengals | Kaiir Elam CB/Florida | Elam is a solid press man corner who may not have all the high end traits but is rarely beat. As seen in the Super Bowl, a true #1 CB could make a world of difference to the Bengals defense. |
| Detroit Lions (f/ LAR) | Sam Howell QB/North Carolina | Howell just feels like a Lion with how he plays the game and can strap the offense to his back trying to will a victory. He can sit behind Jared Goff and develop in Year 1. |

| New York Jets | Boye Mafe EDGE/Minnesota | Mafe is a big, long pass rusher who could rotate in and develop his skills. |
| New York Giants | Kingsley Enagbare EDGE/South Carolina | Enagbare was consistently dominant in the SEC and is a 2nd round steal. |
| Houston Texans | Lewis Cine S/Georgia | Cine is a physical in the box safety to add in both areas of defense. |
| New York Jets (f/ CAR) | Trey McBride TE/Colorado State | McBride has great body control and forged a relationship with the Jets at the Senior Bowl. |
| Chicago Bears | Christian Watson WR/North Dakota State | Watson's size and speed give the Bears a #1 WR across from Darnell Mooney. |
| Denver Broncos | Nicholas Petit-Frere OT/Ohio State | Petit-Frere is inconsistent, but the athleticism provides OT upside. |

| Las Vegas Raiders | Ed Ingram G/LSU | Ingram is a great power blocker who will help Josh Jacobs. |
| New England Patriots | Arnold Ebiketie EDGE/Penn State | Ebiketie has good pass rush ability and could be used as a versatile LB piece. |
| Arizona Cardinals | Isaiah Spiller RB/Texas A&M | Spiller is big and can combine what Conner and Edmonds did this year. |
| Dallas Cowboys | Thayer Munford OL/Ohio State | Munford has OT and G experience to move where the Cowboys need him. |
| Buffalo Bills | Roger McCreary CB/Auburn | An elite slot CB, McCreary doesn't have the measureables but he has great film. |
| Atlanta Falcons (f/ TEN) | Kenneth Walker III RB/Michigan State | Walker was super productive and can be the power runner for the Falcons. |
| Green Bay Packers | Wan'Dale Robinson WR/Kentucky | Robinson is small, but he flashed outside starting WR ability this year. |
| Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Phidarian Mathis DL/Alabama | Mathis is a tough interior defender to compliment Vita Vea. |
| San Francisco 49ers | Sean Rhyan OL/UCLA | Rhyan is a great run blocker for the zone scheme and flashes quick feet. |
| Kansas City Chiefs | George Pickens WR/Georgia | Pickens could turn into a highly productive #2 WR for the Chiefs. |
| Cincinnati Bengals | Cole Strange OL/Chattanooga | Strange is moving up boards as a G or C prospect who could start for the Bengals. |
| Denver Broncos (f/ LAR) | Channing Tindall LB/Georgia | Tindall is a tough inside backer to add to the rotation for the Broncos. |
